Vision
Market Overton Cricket Club, a place to play and players to play.
Mission
A Cricket Club that is acknowledged for its facilities, sportsmanship, competitiveness and its social contribution to the village and local community.
Vital things we must routinely do (in order to achieve our vision and mission)

● We must create and maintain an acceptable and safe cricket square from every player’s perspective and continually improve our facilities.
● We must develop our members (especially the younger members) in the skills, laws and etiquette of cricket.
● We must create a club membership structure which supports the needs of the Club in its widest sense.
● We must generate the necessary sources of revenue and capital funding required to deliver the business plan.
● We must communicate our endeavors, our progress and our success regularly.
● We must take every opportunity to be integrated with and support local community activities/events.
● Above all, by our actions we must demonstrate that we have the will, commitment and determination for the Club to succeed.

● Chairman’s Mission Statement

● To Chair monthly committee meetings and ensure the administration of club is carried out in a professional manner and continues to thrive in the future.
● To assist committee members to carry out their individual roles successfully when needed.
● To ensure the financial stability of the club by actively monitoring club funds with the aim to be financially stronger by the 2013 AGM.
● Support and become involved in fund raising events.
● Take responsibility for the costs and collection of annual membership subscriptions.
● To encourage the team to improve in overall performance and results for 2012.
● By the end of the 2012 season, I want to look back and say that everyone in the club has enjoyed their cricket and have appreciated the tremendous social friendships created or renewed.
● Greatly improve the current player’s membership to enable cricket to be played in Market Overton.
● Encourage members and friends to shop on-line via the Spend and raise cash back scheme in order to raise more funds for investment in the club and local facilities,
